About Precoro

Precoro is an agentic procurement, AP and spend management platform.

Most mid-market finance teams find out what they spent after they spent it. Someone chases purchase orders over email, someone keys invoices into the ledger, and the Finance Director learns what a site committed several weeks after it committed it. The software built to fix that was designed for the Fortune 500: six-figure licences, rollouts measured in quarters, a consulting partner attached to the contract. Everyone below that line got left with spreadsheets.

We built Precoro for the companies underneath it. A £60m business with four sites gets the control a global one has, live in about three weeks, on the finance system it already runs: Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics or Xero. Spend gets approved against budget before the money moves. Invoices reconcile against orders and receipts on their own. The CFO sees committed spend the day it is committed rather than at month end.

The AI work is the part we are most excited about, and it is where this category is heading. Agents raise and chase POs, route approvals to the right budget holder, read invoices and match them to orders and goods received. Procurement is close to an ideal case for it: the work is high volume, rule bound, and nobody enjoys doing it. Every hour absorbed is an hour a six-person finance team does not need to hire a seventh person to cover.

We started in 2015. More than 1,000 companies across 80 countries now run on the platform. Precoro already has customers in the UK: Paul Smith, Carwow, In The Style, Tymit - all of whom found us on their own, with no UK sales team behind them at all.

Now we're building one, and looking for the person to help lead that charge.

What you'll own

  • A curated list of top-tier UK accounts, chosen for fit and live buying signals - yours to work

  • Full-cycle deals with Finance and Procurement leaders, from first outreach through demo to close

  • 1:1 ABM, executive dinners, and a seat at industry events like The FD Show and UK Construction Week - real budget behind you to build relationships

  • The shape of the UK playbook itself: what messaging works, which triggers convert, how the motion should run - decisions the next AEs we hire will inherit from you

  • Room to grow well past this seat - as the UK team builds out, there's a real path into leading it

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years closing B2B SaaS, with real time spent building your own pipeline

  • A track record with Finance or Ops leaders at mid-market companies, and numbers you can walk through with confidence, quarter by quarter

  • A steady, repeatable approach to prospecting - how you build your lists, which signals or triggers you chase, and what you do to keep pipeline moving in a slow week

  • You've been the first rep in a market before, started out as an SDR or BDR, or already know procurement, P2P, or finance software

Why take this seat

Because you'd own it. No inherited territory, no legacy playbook to follow - you decide how UK outbound gets built, and if something isn't working, you're the one with the standing to change it. That's rare: most AE seats ask you to execute a process someone else designed. This one asks you to design it.

It comes with real autonomy - no micromanagement, judged on results rather than activity - and real backing: a decade-old profitable product, an uncapped comp plan with accelerators, and a market that's already scored and ready to work rather than a blank spreadsheet. And because this is a founding seat, growing the UK team means a genuine shot at leading it, not just being early to it.

Process:

  1. HR screening

  2. Hiring manager 45m interview

  3. Technical Interview 90m in-depth check

  4. Optional conversation with our CEO or US VP of Sales if you'd like it, before you decide.

Building something from the ground up beats maintaining what's already there.
If that's your kind of challenge,
looking forward to your application.
